Driver performance is continually monitored using satellite surveillance devices in all vehicles.
Details of each trip are recorded and assessed to ensure the safety of the drivers, vehicles and goods transported.

Safe & Secure Vehicle Parking

We provide safe and secure parking space at the CFS in Mombasa, we understand safety is critical, as vehicles parts get lost in the process of transfer and storage. A secure open yard dedicated for motor vehicles on transit to South Sudan is also available.

Transportation is the backbone of logistical process, we pay much attention to this process and developed specialized knowledge of the industry, to provide comfort to our clients.

Nilotia Freight Logistics is a specialist on the transport route between Mombasa to Juba in South Sudan, and Uganda as well. We understand that goods must travel safe, and delivered on time. As such we have developed capacity to handle general cargo, from durable goods and perishable goods, and abnormal loads.

We also subcontract fleets when needed to ensure customers demand is responded to in a timely manner. For we understand the market and the industry, we deal with the most respected companies to ensure safety of goods. Drivers from the third party are vetted so as to meet our safety standard.

Cargo Handling (Sea & Air)

Through our partner Mitchell Cotts, we handle customers’ consignments. We take care of transfer from the port to the CFS, which include loading and off loading, and keep the consignment safe until owners complete the clearing process and ready to collect their goods.

Through our partner we offer 20 to 30 free storage days for client nominated cargo to the CFS. This is to give our client comfort incase they experience unexpected delays on their end.

We also take care of handling goods on transit from JKIA to JIA and clear it on arrival.

Customs Clearing & Fowarding

Customs clearance for goods imported to a country is a very technical and highly regulated process and becomes more complicated once goods are on transit to a third-party country. To ensure smooth clearance of your goods, we have put in place a team of experts both in Kenya and South Sudan to help clear your goods.

We handle these complex processes on behalf of our customers from valuation to payment of duties, taxes and other tariffs, to ensure entry and admissibility of their merchandise and goods into
the country.

We also offer freight forwarding services, which include international shipments. Our experts on behalf of customers prepare and process customs and necessary documentation for international shipping.

Insurance of Goods on Transit
